AMSTERDAM September, 2023 — Taylor Handsley, a former director at Hey Honey and Edelman, has launched a new full-service social media agency, Tailored. Backed by MXP Ventures, Tailored provides strategy, content, and production for clients looking to grow their brands across social media. Tailored represents MXP Ventures B.V. eighth investment for the venture firm in the past 24 months.
Tailored offers global clients tailored solutions for social media and content creation including strategies, data-driven insights, and influencer marketing. The Amsterdam-based team deeply understands pan-European consumer markets and how brands can use social media to connect, engage with, and delight their customers.
At Hey Honey Handsley led the strategy, creative, and content teams working with clients such as JBL and Crocs, and she previously worked at McCann on the Bentley Motors account, and at Edelman as a founding director of agency’s content hub Content Solutions. She’s worked with global clients Semrush, Coty, and Vestiaire Collective, Refinery29, Elle Magazine, Amazon.
Along with her work, Handsley is also an autistic leader and helps to mentor other neurodivergent professionals as well as educate organizations on how they can accommodate their neurodivergent employees.
On starting her own agency, Handsley said, “I’ve seen too many agencies and brands approach social media from a one-size-fits-all perspective, and that just doesn’t work long term.
